| Plot Summary | In an animated fairy tale world, a young girl meets and falls in love with the handsome prince of her dreams. News of this romance upsets the prince's mother, the evil queen, who uses her black magic to send the girl hurtling out of the animated world into the one place in the universe where there is no true love: modern day Manhattan. The now-real girl has to survive in New York City and find her way home again to her true love. |

posted on 19 May 2008It is a fairytale that takes place in New York, the busiest city in the world. The plot revolves around the legendary persona Giselle who is tricked by her potential mother-in-law and sent with an evil plan into the rough life of Manhattan. All this happens after Giselle falls in love with the prince whose mother is not willing, by any means to sacrifice her own throne to the prospective bride. All through the movie Giselle has that concept that love should always have that fairy-like happy ending crowned by a lifelong marriage. She is then faced with the harsh reality of life in New York where she meets the pessimistic lawyer, Robert and the latter eventually falls in love with her.
