| Plot Summary | After finally catching serial killer and occult "sorcerer" Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson can close yet another successful case. posted on 11 January 2010Well, I was expecting this movie to be a one more boring and super promoted one. I am very glad I was wrong – since the film is fantastic. I love Sherlock Holmes story very much and I've watched the whole versions but as to me Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law can be named the best Holmes-and-Watson-duo so far.
The movie is perfect from all the points of view. It has everything a decent detective story should have: chasing, feelings, blood-chilling scenes and so on.
This is a GREAT movie: smart, blistering and highly entertaining.
BTW, the epoch is depicted in the best way possible, everything is incerdibly realistic!
