posted on 20 May 2009I am ready to bet that the following movie has got a lot of negative reviews and once again I even don't know why. May be people simply don't feel like enjoying comedies and they prefer really dark and gloomy movies even during awful crises times.
The movie is not only funny and catching, it is very interesting from the cultural point of view – it shows the Japanese people in all their beauty and in a very interesting way. To my mind, the filmmakers obviously love Japan and its culture. They were so sincere and so true, it seems to me I can feel their emotions. I must say there are some really incredible and really blistering moments about this film. Simply don't expect it to be something like a Titanic and everything will be OK. Definitely a must see!
