posted on 15 April 2009The film is a brilliant combination of feelings, duties, dilemmas and sex. The movie turned to be a huge come back for Kate Winslet and it made her a star again, namely her performance was brilliant and heart-breaking. I was about to cry during some moments.
To my mind, the Reader is the movie that is impossible to forget and I even won't try because I would like to watch it over and over again. My beloved part is the actual opening of the movie … Do you remember it? A rainy day and a lonely Michael … It was fantastic and so damn vivid.
The movie raises acute problems of our society and unfolds them – shows them the way they are, without any festive decorations or beautiful details. The movie presents the naked truth and I love it for this.
You should definitely watch it!
