| Plot Summary | Andy Dufresne, is sent to Shawshank Prison for the murder of his wife and secret lover. posted on 4 March 2009The following movie can be named one of the best movies ever, frankly speaking, I can't think of any detail or scene that look needless in it. The movie is logical and coherent, and I watched it in one breath!!! Shawshank tends to be more art than simply a movie, since everything is great in it: visuals, performance, music ... The movie is about simple but important things and very often our life is lack of them, because such notions as friendship and devotion are empty sounds for a lot of people.
The lovers of Transformers will name this movie a completely failure, but they don't understand a thing. Shawshank touches hearts and souls but not eyes, the movie has no expensive visual effects and no expensive costumes but it has much more ...
If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend it to you, you won't be disappointed.
The Shawshank Redemption Review
posted on 18 May 2008The movie tells the story of a banker whose life dramatically changes when he is forced to go to prison because of the so-called murder of his wife and his lover. Andy Dufrense’s story is set somewhere in the early 1940’s and it shows how Andy gets through the prison years with the help of his best friend Red, the prison entrepreneur. The story becomes more interesting in the last quarter when Andy manages to escape from prison through a very ingenious plan.
