Storyline
| Plot Summary | Up is a truly hilarious animated comedy directed by Pete Docter and Bob Peterson, that will put smile on your face. When a 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen is forced to leaves his cherished house and to go to a retirement home he believes that his life falls to pieces and there is nothing else he can do but for ... making an unusual trip and fulfilling his lifelong dream to enjoy the Land of South America. The most amazing part is the way he and his unexpected 8-year-old companion Russel travel. Carl attaches to the house a lot of colourful balloons and the house easily flies away. Russell turns to be a Wilderness Explorer and deep inside he is a clever and lonely young boy who needs love and attention. The house finally lands in the wilderness and the adventure begins ... During the trip the two of them will meet talking dogs, a rare bird Kevin, incredible beauties of the land and even an evil villain. Simply be ready for a great time! |

posted on 22 July 2009I am an avid fan of WALL-E but the following animation seems to be equally hilarious and interesting. To tell the truth, as to me it is the funniest and sweetest cartoon I have seen in years and it definitely stands in the same row with Toy Story and Cars. I give the studio standing ovations because I was ready to bet Pixar could never reach those heights again.
The collaboration of Pixar and Disney lead to amazing visuals, catching plot and the most touching stories ever. This movie is terrific and both children and adults will definitely love it.
The whole episodes with the crazy bird Kevin made me burst into laughter – don't miss, the movie is definitely a hit!
